History aIPAM was founded in 2005 as an affiliate of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM). Many NAHAM members have organized Access groups within their states and have had great success in promoting education and leadership in the Patient Access Management area. aIPAM intends to take a leadership role in Illinois and neighboring states to elevate the role of Access professionals in the healthcare industry. We are over 75 members strong and growing!

If any of you are new to the LGBT community, don't forget to check out the LGBT Health Center in your area as soon you can so might meet someone in the LGBT space and be your local support encouragement and so they can be the first in your community area so they are more than happy to provide you an LGBT health plan. The LGBT Health Center in our area is going to be providing free HIV & other STI prevention, education, and health services to people of all ages and kinds from around the greater St. Louis area. People have never actually seen an LGBT person being the care giver. Our local AIDS & STD Center is also going to be giving away condoms. We also have several different HIV tests available and the first one has a much shorter waiting time that most. Finally, as of now this is what has been announced in the past for next few months. I think our community is going to have our LGBT Health Center in area open every week. You can contact me at any time (just ask) and I'll tell you which time it is as soon the new one opens, so that you'll know your next appointment isn't too far behind. The LGBT Health Center in our area is going to be open on Tuesday evenings, and again Friday mornings Saturdays at 3:00 pm.
